Garage Sale Loot

When I was telling you the story of one crazy Thursday to a wacky Monday, I said I would do a post on what I acquired at the MV Garage Sales. Here it is!
Pavers for back yard was the main find. They are in place, but the area underneath them needs to be scraped away. They fit perfectly in the space. We needed the exact amount that I bought.
They were originally priced at $1.50 per paver, but were marked down to 75 cents per unit. We were on our way home and I offered all my remaining money, which was $7 and the lady took it.
She said, she did not want to have to carry them back to her house.

I also bought a book, a set of hot rollers, a nice bowl, a tapestry pillow and a stuffed bear like the one Blonde Girl lost in Mexico when she was five.

I think that was it. I spent $18, including food. A lot of these sales have concessions. Home owners sell coffee, soft drinks, donuts, chips and home made food. I buy the homemade food from the people I know, but stick to pre-packaged if I don't know them.

Marla got the nicest patio set for $40. I told the lady that Marla would take it, before Marla was even out of the car. Score!!!

We ran into many people that we knew. It is super fun and a great chance to socialize.

We made pit stops to store our excess in my garage. Marla always drives, she has a Suburban. We do have this process down.
