Red Box

On our way to Iowa, we came across these Red Box DVD vending machines. Seriously, I had never seen or heard of them. We are huge fans. They have popped up everywhere. I love the Red Box!

A Tree Grows in Phoenix

The tree has a lot of blossoms considering how small the tree actually is.
I only hope when the tree has oranges, the oranges don't break the branches.

Blossoms

Blonde Girl was determined to take the daisy plant home with us.
We got as far at the Maid-Rite in Osceola, Iowa where Love Man gave it to the workers.
He tried to give it to some fireman, but the fireman said he'd had to ask his wife!

Back in Arizona, our orange tree was blooming for the first time!

Grandpa

By Beloved Niece (in a dream a few days ago, speaking at his funeral)

"I was my grandpa's first grandchild he ever had, and I was the first one he forgot as soon as he had his cardiac arrest in March of 1996. I was just three years old when all of this happened; although I don't remember it. I don't know what he was like when he was normal and I wouldn't change it for the world. He is my grandpa, who God gave me to have. He was the only grandpa of mine who I'd ever met. But, I accepted him as he was and I always thought he was hilarious; and he was special to me. I'll always remember when I went to my grandma and grandpas house he would always be sitting in his chair smoking his pipe; and I thought he was a true stud for that. I hope that he is no longer trapped in the body he was it for a long twelve years, where he was so confused and everyday was a struggle for him and my grandma. I wish Icould have gotten to be a bit older when it happened so I could actually remember him, but he was special to me, no matter how I got him. My grandma took good care of him after all this happened; I don't think anyone else could have lived up to his expectations. Except God; and I hope he is taking care of him right now as I'm here. Grandpa; I hope that when I see you again the little girl with blonde hair and blue eyes will pop back into your mind and you will remember me from meeting me so many years ago. And we can finally catch up on all you've missed. You're the strongest person I have ever met. I'll never forgot get you our paths will meet again someday. I love you."

All I am doing is washing towels. We returned to the Pointe and now we'll have resume tanning from home.

Sunday at the Pointe

Miss Brunette at the Pointe.

Blonde girl posing for picture. I am sure her hair will be turning green.
Beloved Niece is determined to have a tan, so will be back.

The Girls

The girls have been Hannahized. Notice they all have matching up-dos. That is
Beloved Niece's thing.

Here Comes the Sun

Beloved Niece is here and is already talking about her tan. I am seriously still wearing sweaters. It was only 70 degrees yesterday, but what is an aunt to do? So, it is now
officially spring/summer at our house. I am sure we will be crashing the Pointe at
Tapatio. I am still carrying my winter purse. I can only go so far.

Dog Days

Bob Barker is right. We are going to spay and neuter boy and girl dogs. This last
"season" was almost the end of me. I am hoping we are not going to hear the
pitter patter of little chihuahuas. And, Blonde Girl could never let them go.

Picked Fresh

I was driving Blonde Girl home from school, she is talking
and talking about her day. I spied this lovely wrought iron table with tile top.
I stopped the car, Blonde Girl does not say a word, I get the table
and carefully shove it in my backseat and proceed home. Blonde
Girl does not blink and simply says, "that will look nice, once you clean it up".
She then, returned to her story.

I finished picking the rest of the lemons. I am considering mailing them to loved ones.

Planting

Part of the "a new arm" of the saguaro that was knocked off by the old arm.
If you plant it, it will grow.

Meyer lemon picked this weekend. It is huge, as you can see.
Blonde Girl thought it was hilarious of me to take the lemon's picture.
