He's Ready to Roll

Love Man leaves this morning and is starting his job on Wednesday.
And, the trailer is full. No, Ryders were not available which is
why we got a U-Haul.

Dinosaur Diorama

It's Dinosaur week and we made the cutest, cutest dioramas. The
children were totally excited and one child told me it was the most
fun he has ever had in his entire life.

Real Estate

The CdA real estate called me and during our chat made a few cracks about Phoenix.
She mentioned that CdA has four seasons and Phoenix has one.
She also said that CdA has trees. I told her we also had trees.
So, we will see.

Sign of the Times

I hear a certain Mrs. Dutchgirl is writing comments to my
posts, but I am not receiving them. So, try again.

P.S.

I have had many calls telling me that actress Patty Duke
has moved to CdA, ID. Now do you all really think we
are going to live in the same neighborhood! Please.
I don't think I will see her at the grocery store. She
must have people for that. I would have people for that
if I was her. And, if I did see her and invite her for
coffee, I would probably be classified as a stalker.

Lime Crime

I hope Margot (Real Estate agent) didn't pluck this lime before its prime.
I mean I hate to waste the fruit.
It does look a bit artfully arranged on this bench.

Rainbow Shirts

We spent the entire week making our class shirts.
They turned out pretty good.
Several of the smart kids pointed out the purple
and darker blue are missing.

Cactus

This is going in the white pot.

The Rock

I had them estimate taking this baby.
Given to me by my neighbor.
It is from the Lake Powell area.

I Am Taking The Wood With Me

Yes, I had the moving company guy give me an estimate to take everything.
Yes, including my two piles of CEDAR firewood, given to me by a neighbor.
I told you people are always giving me FREE things. The wood goes. It makes
the house smell glorious. . . . . .

What to Take

See the white pots.
One is going to have the saguaro part that previously
fell and the other is going to have a lemon tree. I
am keeping them in the house.
Part of Arizona is going with me to Idaho.

Calgon Take Me Away

News flash!! We are moving to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Love Man (or in our family Un-Love Man) is going in October.
The girls (plan 452) are going to Iowa around December 12.
Then, Grandma, Miss Brunette and Blonde Girl are coming to Idaho.
I am not sure if Grandma realizes all of this.
Let her know if you see her.
Beloved Niece may come too.
No, I have never been.
Yes, I hear it is beautiful.
We are going to check it out over Fall Break.

Name That Spice

I think it is basil, or maybe sage.
But, it is all over the place.
I planted basil there.
Love Man insists it is sage.
Does anyone know for sure?
It could be a hybrid between the two,
but it tastes great in food.

Rose Moss

It is the duct tape of the flowers. It works everywhere and does the job.

Fruits of our Labor

See the lime. It is the kind that goes in Coronas.

First lemons of the year!

And, for the very first time, an orange. We have never had oranges before.

Sun Tea

We broke our sun tea jar.
I went everywhere, yes, including Walmart and
the end-caps of all the supermarkets, searching for a glass sun tea jar.
Honestly.
One clerk said to me, "well, it is September, ma'am."
And, I replied "well, this is Phoenix, Arizona ma'am."
So, I bought this lovely cracker jar.
Problem solved.

Blonde Girl

Seriously, doesn't she look like the Japanese submarine captain on
Gilligan's Island. You know, the one who doesn't know WWII is over.
