To Do, To Do

The girls are done.  Hurray!  Hurray!

Okay, Okay

May Mania has been a little more busy than usual.  I am now done with my school and will be starting my second week of summer school.  Miss B is finished Thursday and Blonde Girl is done Wednesday.
But, Blonde Girl's 6th grade stopped switching classes on Wednesday.  They have been bowling, had a talent show, tie dyed shirts, etc. 

Miss B is still busy with various tests and she has finals next week.

I wish they were out before Memorial Day.  It used to be a nice way to start the summer, instead of preparing for final tests and all. 

Coyotes

The Phoenix Coyotes won and going into the Western Conference Finals.  Love Man loves the Coyotes.

We have coyotes of our own.  Honestly, our neighborhood is overrun with them.  You can hear MANY of them howling at night.  The other night, I was taking out the garbage at 7:30 at night and a coyote was in the yard across the street.

I have now seen a total of four coyotes since we have lived in this house.  The dog down the street is missing and we are now accompanying our dogs outside when they go out at night to do their business.

Cactus Flower

We planted this organ pipe cactus in place of the saguaro.
 I still miss the saguaro, but this cactus will grow like a weed. 
The flowers are gorgeous.

May Mania

The countdown to the end of the year is at hand.  Both girls have projects.  I have a letter, two scrapbooks per each child and a slide show to finish before May 17.  There are also a ton of concerts, performances, end of the year parties, etc. to do.  OMG.  I don't remember it being like this for me when I was in school. 

I guess if you are the participant, it is more fun.
