Mid Term Reports

See these two girls?

They both had good mid-term report cards.

I said to Blonde Girl, "if this is how your grades are on your 1st quarter report card, you can choose between a manicure or a pedicure to celebrate."

Her reply was:

"Daddy said if I had good grades,

I could have a pony."

I have left a message for Daddy.

Water Works

This was the girl's first trip to Las Vegas.

They got to drive down the strip in a convertible driven by their uncle.

They each got about 1 1/2 pounds of chocolate.

They got to see the fountains at Bellagio.

They had fun.

The Story

We went to M & M World.

It was pretty fun.

The girls loved it.

We let them go to the M & M wall.

They could fill a bag with all of the unusual colors of M & Ms.

Turns out, the candies were $12.95 a pound.

We spent $33.51 on M & Ms.

I made them put some back,

but we ended up with almost three pounds.

We are Back

We spent the weekend in Las Vegas.

It was fun.

We stayed with Love Man's brother

and wife.

We hit the strip twice.

The funny thing was that I have

never been in Las Vegas the city.

The grocery stores even have slot machines.

A Cactus Among the Thorns

We have nice Rainbows in our class this year.
They also have the most unusual names.
Very old.
I am telling you soon children are going to come into our preschool with names like
Wretha, Buehla, Gladys, Hazel and Florence.
Seriously.
All of the old ladies in the future will be named Ashley and Tiffany.
Do you remember who said that?
The ladies of "Designing Women" said it.
And, they are right.
